Our History - Transformations began in 1995, when owner Peter Michael Whalen, was asked if he could offer his assistance to a friend. Some "help" turned into a contracted job and Peter was hooked. Over the years Peter did many kitchen & bath renovations, additions, finished basements, as well as more decks than he'd like to remember, and more fireplaces than he can count. Peter's diverse background includes computer science, electronics, and the teaching of those subjects, so it's no surprise that in 2004 he "officially" added home theater to the list of services available. "I was seeing the home theater industry dominated by electronics sales, with little to no thought on craftsmanship, and little to no knowledge of underlying construction practices."
Our Philosophy - "Too often the builder looks at the development instead of the home. Too often the builder is an accountant first, and a craftsman second. In the long run, the demand that comes with a strong reputation, will exceed any small immediate gains from rushing the task or cutting corners."
